Macau Bus Routes

If you are traveling within Macau/Taipa and would like to use bus as your transportation, here is a good guide on how to navigate.  Google Map is an excellent info for public transportation.

MAJOR BUS STOPS

These bus stops are like hubs where you can transfer to another bus to take you pretty much anywhere you want.

#1 Praca Ferreira Amaral

this is a major bus hub which is conveniently located close to the central bridge and downtown of Macau.  Right next to it you will find the Grand Lisboa  and Wynn(very touristy)  Being close to the bridge means you can hop on another bus to Taipa easily.  Since many buses pass this hub, you can be choosy and pick the least crowded bus to get on.   #2 Portas do Cerco (Border Gate) This bus station borders the Macau and Zhuhai, and is a busy bus terminal as many mainlanders travel to Macau to work/visit.  But due to its location, its usefulness as a transfer station is limited. - #25 or 25X goes to Downtown Taipa -  Alternatively, #30 also takes to parts of Taipa

#3 Edificio do Lago

this is a bus hub that is right under the economy housing, edificio do Lago.  A major bus hub inside Taipa.  Many buses will need to pass through this station.  Although it is not as convenient and can be a bit out of the way, it is nevertheless useful in certain circumstances. - taking AP1 will take you to Outer Macau Ferry Terminal (only 2 stops).  Continue on the bus will take to Portas do Cerco. - taking 75 will take you to University of Macauin in Hengqin
