At our office, we have the following armamentarium to make sure patients are comfortable during injections:
1. Electrical vibrating Syringe: Vibrating syringe works by using the Gate-control theory. Pain perception is greatly reduced at the needle insertion. In Macau, the topical numbing is outlawed, so this is the next best thing we can do for the patient.
